The disciples asked Jesus what will be the sign of thy coming.
Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Mark 13:4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
Jesus told the disciples 4 things.
1. AFTER the Tribulation.
2. The sun and moon are darkened.
3. The stars fall from heaven.
4. The powers of the heavens shall be shaken
Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mark 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25 and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
What does this mean? It means we will NOT see Jesus until AFTER the Tribulation, AFTER the sun and moon are darkened, AFTER the stars fall from heaven and AFTER the powers of the heavens are shaken... whatever that means.
Yes. It really is that easy to understand. Most people are Tribulation deniers. They deny any believer will go through Tribulation because 2 billion people will DIE during the tribulation and they want to believe we have a get out of Tribulation FREE card to play.
What I've come to realize lately is the Rapture will take place during the time between the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Booths aka Feast of Tabernacles. There are 5 days between the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Booths. The Rapture will take place sometime during these 5 days... maybe all 5 days... maybe 1 or 2 days. Who knows?
I've said this before and I'll say it again. There is no GREAT GLORY in a Rapture that takes place in a moment or in the twinkling of an eye where all of a sudden every believer just 'DING' up and disappears. I think the Rapture will take a minimum of 1 day and possibly last up to 5 days... including the sun and moon being darkened, the stars falling from the heaven and the powers of the heavens being shaken... all taking place AFTER 1260 days of Tribulation & AFTER 75 days of Great Tribulation.
And I just realized something. The stars will fall from HEAVEN & the powers of the HEAVENS shall be shaken. This drives home my thinking that the stars are the angels coming from heaven with Jesus because HEAVEN and THE HEAVENS are two different things.
2 billion people haven't died, yet... AND the sun is shining... AND there are no 'stars' falling from heaven AND the powers of the heavens have not been shaken.
