I posted a blog titled Most People are Going to Hell. People don't believe most people are going to hell... even believers. Those who believe in a pre-trib Rapture will have a hard time believing this too... MOST believers are going to die BEFORE the Rapture. As a matter of fact the bible actually says all remaining believers WILL die AT the Rapture... when they see Jesus.
These truths are not something I came up with. They are things Jesus said. They are things that John, the disciple whom Jesus loved, said Jesus said.
Here are some proof texts:
John 16:2 ... the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should NO flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto DEATH, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great MULTITUDE, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands...
Revelation 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, TILL they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
John 16:2 - There is a time coming and is here now where people will kill believers thinking they are doing the will of god. The sad thing is they will kill believers and those who call themselves believers. They will kill wheat and tares... guilt by association.
Matthew 24:22 - Says it plainly. If those days were not shortened then NO believers would be left. Those days are the Great Tribulation. The Great Tribulation is going to be shortened to 75 days otherwise there wouldn't be ANY believers left alive at the Rapture.
Revelation 2:10 - Jesus told the angel of the church of Smyrna the devil will cast some of them into prison. They would be tried. They would have tribulation for 10 days. Be faithful and then you will be killed and given a crown of life. I don't know if these 10 days are at the beginning, middle or end of the Great Tribulation. However...
Revelation 7:9 - tells us there is a GREAT MULTITUDE that suddenly appears before the throne. This multitude could be those from that 10 day period or could be from sometime during the Great Tribulation. The bible doesn't say exactly. All we know is there are so many people that no man could number them.
Revelation 7:14 - tells us WHERE this great multitude came from. These are they who came out of GREAT TRIBULATION. Jesus comes at the END of the Great Tribulation. If there is a pre-trib rapture then there wouldn't be anybody left to come out of great tribulation.
Those are the verses that show us most believers are going to be dead before the Rapture.
Matthew 16:28 - says... on the day Jesus returns those who are left WILL taste death... they will DIE. Why is that? They have to die and leave their old corruptible bodies behind so they can receive their new incorruptible bodies. You can't have a corruptible body and then get a new incorruptible body without 'dying' and leaving the old body behind.
So, what do we do? Stand and fight? Kill those who come to kill you? Revelation 13:10 ... he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Do you have the patience and faith to let somebody kill you? Will you let them cut your head off?
The bible is serious when it says: Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
Revelation 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
EVERYBODY has an appointment with the first death. No believer will experience the second death. Nobody escapes death with a Pre-Trib Rapture.
MOST believers are going to die BEFORE the Rapture... the rest will die AT the Rapture.
